We have somehow been tricked into believing the lie that we have to constantly progress, move forward and acquire more over the course of our lives. But what would it look like if we did the opposite? What if we purposefully regressed?
What if we got rid of our stuff instead of acquiring more? Downsized our homes instead of buying bigger ones? Said ‘no’ to more and ‘yes’ to less?
By minimizing the things that take away our freedom and time we can maximize the quality of our lives by having more time to do the things that are important to us and make us happy. For me, this includes reading, writing, exercising, spending time with my family and friends, travelling and enjoying the great outdoors.
What would your life look like with less stuff to tend to/fix/maintain? What would you do with your time?
